The purpose of this bill is to create a more consistent process when handling the sale of tax liens and non-entered, escheated and waste and unappropriated lands by providing all lands subject to sale under this article be certified before July 1; providing all land sales be completed within 150 days after the auditor has certified the lands; and clarifying payment shall be made to the sheriff of the county in which the property is situated.
